Candidates must have graduated at least 12 years experience of school with GCE'A' level or its equivalent recognised by MQA.
Programmes Introduction
The programme offers a full range of courses in economics and finance. Students can prepare themselves for a broad range of careers and graduate study. The overall overview of the course studies the development f dundemental economic concepts, basic economic institutions and their history, and contemporary econmics isues. The syllabus also covers the supply and demand, markets, gross domestic product (GDP), inflation and recession, and the role of government. Economic issues such as energy, environment, education, and health care are included when approprite. The study of finance will further strengthen the skills and professional values which are essential to he exercise of an economist in the industry or public practice.
