Kolej Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Selangor (KUIS) was established in 1995 as a private college and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Selangor Islamic Religious Council (MAIS) aimed at providing educational opportunities that emphasize on the integration of knowledge. From its humble beginnings, KUIS has now emerged as one of the most dynamic Islamic private universities and is fast accelerating towards its mission to become one of the most renowned centres of academic excellence, not only in Malaysia but also recognized internationally.

IS13 - Diploma in Islamic Studies (Usuluddin) (KP/JPS (KR 6310) 07/10 MQA (A 6310))

Mode of Studies
Full time & part time

Entry Requirement (Local)
Pass in SPM / SPMV with 3 credits and pass in BAT/BAK/ or its equivalent.

***pass in BAT/BAK and English Language to apply IS18

Entry Requirement (International)
Candidates must have graduated at least 11 years experience of school with GCE ‘O’ Level or its equivalent recognised by MQA (at least with minimum qualification in Arabic Language).

Programmes Introduction
This programme exposes students to the principles of aqidah, Islamic thought and philosophy as well as the sciences of Hadith and AI-Quran. Students will be exposed to the element of deviant teachings and ways to overcome them in the society. Equipped with the knowledge of the true teachings of Islam, this programme will enable them to defend and safeguard the religion.

Full time only

Entry Requirement (local)
Pass in STPM with at least 2 principle / pass in relevant Foundation programme / Diploma holder in relevant field.

Entry Requirement (International)
Candidates must have graduated at least 12 years experience of school with GCE'A' level or its equivalent recognised by MQA (at least with minimum qualification in English Language and Mathematics)

Programmes Introduction
This programme gives the students the opportunity to learn the configuration and development aspect of network and web applications. Students will also learn several internal aspects of network technology such as chain management supply and routing/switching. Through this programme, students are taught issues in connection with common and special software's and their system of peration. This programme also focuses on the protocol TCP / IP especially in relation to network operation as well as exposure to the nature of computer network and detail technology-related Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN). At the end of the programme, students are also awarded with certificates in Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

CENTER FOR GRADUATE STUDIES

Entry Requirement

Bachelors Degree (with Honours) or equivalent from Kolej Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Selangor or from recognised universities;

Priorities are given to candidates with at least a minimum qualification in Arabic Language at the SPM level or its equivalent.

Candidates without foundation in Arabic Language are required to undertake the Arabic Language Intensive course.

Candidates with at least a minimum of ten (10) years working experience at the executive level and above will be given priority. This candidate must possess at least a qualification in Diploma or its equivalent based on criteria required by KUIS.

Intake & Duration of Studies

The programme is offered to full & part time students with a 1 year (full time) & 1 and a half years (part time). Each semester is 14 weeks. Students can choose one of the 2 modes of study available:

1. Weekdays - classes are scheduled during normal daytime
2. Evening & Weekend - classes are scheduled in the evening (6.00 p.m - 10.00 p.m) during weekdays & Saturdays (9.00 a.m - 5.00 p.m)


The intake will be made available in every semester 1 & 2. However, we will open for further intakes upon request.
